It does put on a bit of a show in early spring when clusters of red flowers bloom amongst its green leaves. Once autumn arrives is when this tree shines, turning it’s canopy of green vibrant red. Red Sunset Maples care quick to grow and and grow up to 2 feet per year until their maximum height is reached.
This beautiful tree grows well in hardiness zones 3-8. While it thrives in full sun it will also grow in full shade. They grow in a wide variety of soils and make for a beautiful addition to any landscape.
